How open the registry's data is, the terms for using it, and the quality requirements.
How open the data is

Terms of use
Open metadata may be used freely for research, education and information. When you use it, please name National DRI and the relevant DRI as the source.
Using the metadata in catalogues, library systems and analytical work
Publishing aggregated statistics with the source cited
Altering the data and presenting it in National DRI's name is prohibited
Quality requirements
Metadata must match the original publication exactly, be complete and follow one standard. The requirements are on the Requirements page.
Change history
The date of every edit is recorded; an identifier is never deleted and never reused.
Withdrawing a record
If a publication is withdrawn, its record is not deleted — a note saying so is added to it.
